Blogging From London
Here I am, blogging from London! We’ve been away for two weeks now, and have visited Dubai, all over Egypt, and London. It’s been an experience so far! I’ll try and get as much as I can remember down, we’ve done so much that It’s quite tricky to recall it all.
Dubai
We arrived in Dubai at 5am in the morning, and the place was busy already. There were seemingly endless cars on the road, and driving safely seemed to be a feat in its own. The first thing I noticed is how clean Dubai is – the place is spotless. You very rarely see trash on the ground, which is surprising, because even Sydney wasn’t this clean.
The first day in Dubai, we visited the Mall of the Emirates, which is bloody huge. You could get lost so easily in there! The mall near where I live in Sydney is big… I swear that this mall is about 10 times bigger than the one back home. We also visited some souks (markets), where dad got a replacement wedding ring, because he snapped his the weekend before playing cricket. That night we did a river cruise dinner. It took us an hour and a half to drive 20 minutes down the road because of a major accident. It was absolutely ridiculous. The food wasn’t that flash either. Plus, they charged dad about $60AU for a shitty Australian wine you could get back home for about $10. haha.
